How to Start Loving Yourself
Often my coaching clients are not their own “best friend”. They often are their own worst critic, speaking negatively about themselves and running themselves down.
It’s like we have a negative voice in our head.
Are you self-critical?
Do you run yourself down?
Do you have a negative inner voice?
Are you sabotaging yourself?
This is like pushing the self-destruct button for your confidence and self-esteem.
And it can be a very damaging cycle of negativity that can impact on every day and every relationship for you.
So how can you put a stop to this or at least protect yourself from this?
Here are 10 Tips
1. Catch yourself being negative about yourself and STOP IT.
2. Write down 10 positives about yourself and stick them onto your mirror.
3. Say these positive affirmations to yourself 10 times a day. That’s 100 positive messages a day!
4. Be kind to someone!
5. Avoid negative people or people who don’t make you feel good.
6. Find an inspirational role model and observe them. What can you learn from them?
7. Replace the word “problem” with “challenge”. Be solutions focussed.
8. Ban the word “can’t”. Look for a way you “can”.
9. Set yourself mini goals to achieve so you have many mini successes.
10. BE YOUR OWN BEST FRIEND!
