Where do you see yourself in 20 years and how are you going to get there?
Time to reflect: Where do you see yourself in 20 years time? Are you working towards this right now?
Although this question may seem a little out of reach right now, thinking about where you ultimately want to be may actually help you to decide what you should do in the short term. Have a go at answering the following questions to see how much clarity you have about where you see yourself in 20 years.
To achieve your 20 year goal where will you be in 5 years? | What do you need to do to achieve this in the next 5 years? |
Where will you be in 10 Years? | What do you need to do in years 5-10 to achieve this? |
Where will you be in 15 years? | What do you need to do in years 10-15 achieve this? |
Are you on target to achieve your 20 year goal? | What do you need to do in years 15-20 to achieve this? |
The more detailed your plan is the more likely you are to achieve it. The final step is to decide what you need to do in the next year to set you on your way.
